OVERVIEW Clark Vintage Lighting LLC provides restoration, rewiring, and modification services for antique and vintage lighting, and also designs, manufactures, and sells both new and restored lighting fixtures. By purchasing products or engaging our services, you agree to the following terms. --- PRODUCTS & UL LISTING * We sell both **newly made** and **restored vintage** lighting fixtures. * Some fixtures are **UL listed**, and some are **not UL listed**. * UL status will be clearly communicated when applicable. * Not all fixtures are eligible for UL listing due to design, materials, or historical construction. --- RETURNS (WEBSITE SALES) * We accept returns on eligible items purchased through our website. * Items must be **unused** and returned in the **same condition** in which they were shipped. * **Original shipping costs are non-refundable.** * The customer is responsible for **return shipping costs**. * We reserve the right to deny returns that do not meet these conditions. --- CLIENT-SUPPLIED FIXTURES (RESTORATION WORK) UL COMPLIANCE * We maintain a UL listing under **UL 1598** for surface-mounted wall and ceiling fixtures only. * Table and floor lamps can be rewired but will **not be UL listed**. * We cannot certify or sign off on work performed by others. All electrical components must be replaced with parts we source and install. * UL requirements must be followed exactly or the fixture cannot be listed. * Cloth-covered wire is not permitted in UL-listed fixtures. * Fixtures hanging from their cord or wire cannot be UL listed. * We do not service fixtures with halogen bulbs or integrated LEDs. * We recommend checking with us before purchasing a fixture if UL listing is required. --- ESTIMATES * All estimates are **preliminary** until fixtures are physically inspected. * Photos may not reveal all issues affecting cost or UL eligibility. * Final pricing may change based on condition, safety requirements, or compliance needs. --- DEPOSITS & PAYMENT * A deposit of **50% of the high-end estimate** is required before work begins. * Final payment is due upon completion prior to pickup or shipment. --- SHIPPING & HANDLING * Do **not ship items without prior approval**. * Fixtures will be unpacked and inspected upon arrival. * If you choose not to proceed, labor for receiving, unpacking, inspection, and return shipping is **non-refundable**. --- STORAGE * Items left with us longer than **two (2) months** will incur storage fees based on size and duration. --- LIMITATIONS * UL certification cannot be guaranteed until work is completed. * Some fixtures may not qualify due to design or condition. * Independent UL testing is possible but typically exceeds $10,000 per fixture and is not facilitated by us. --- LIABILITY * We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or hidden defects. * Restoration may require modifications to original materials for safety. * Liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service. --- ABANDONED PROPERTY Items not claimed within 90 days after notice of completion may be considered abandoned and handled in accordance with applicable law. --- GOVERNING LAW These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. --- ACCEPTANCE By purchasing from us, requesting services, or delivering fixtures, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. --- Clark Vintage Lighting LLC** 342 North St. Pittsfeild MA O1201 413-344-4491 Todd@Clarkvintage.com ---
